The Last Flight
of Heroes Aircraft

Heroes Aircraft that carried 500
passengers was crashed on Paradise Island after took off from Lynden Pindling
International Airport at 12:04 on Sunday afternoon, November 10, 1989. Hundreds
people were killed by this accident.
It was crashed because of the pilot
error. After encountering heavy turbulence, Heroes Aircraft turned from side to
side due to the pilot over-applying a rudder pedal. Despite his desperate
attempted to level the plane, the rudder failed from excessive stress and the
aircraft rolled onto its side, crashed into five cars that cross on the road
and killed hundreds people that include the passangers and the strangers that
were passing the road, and some of them was injured. All of the victims were
brought to the nearest hosiptal to get
the intensive care from the medical personnel. But some of the victims with the
serious wound, they died before they were handling by the doctor. Only nine
people that saved from this accident, they were the pilot and co-pilot, two of
four stewardesses, and five passengers.
Shortly after the accident, the police
and fire brigades quickly came and helped to put out the fire and saved the
passangers and also helped to identify the victims of the accident. David Harts,
a reporter from NewsToday.com reported from the Paradise Island and interviewed
one of the passanger that saved. She was Maria, she said that she was shocked
because of this accident. She was with her husband and her daughter, but they
were died, only she that saved from this accident. The other passangers that
saved, were in the same condition. They were so shock with this tragedy.
