Batang Regency

Batang Regency is a regency on the north coast of Central Java province in Indonesia. It is about 100 km west of the province's capital city of Semarang. Batang's town centre is located on the side of the north coast trans Java highway network, widely known as "the Pantura". (modified from wikipedia.com)

In Batang there are many beautiful places, such as Pagilaran tea garden, Ujung negoro beach, Batang Dolphin Center, Curug Genting, Curug Gombong, etc. Pagilaran tea garden is a place that has a beautiful view, not only the green expanse of tea plantations that we can enjoy there, there are a variety of games for children such as flying fox, a children’s pool, and also a mini zoo. Ujung negoro beach is a beautiful beach in Batang. Not only beach that you can enjoy there, but also the Aswotomo cave and small graveyard established by the Muslim missionary Syeikh Maulana Maghribi. Canoes can be hired and there is fishing. In Batang Dolphin Center you can also see any kind of animals, such as reptils, dolphins, seals, and many others. There is a show of the animals, that is so interesting. In Curug Genting and Gombong you will be interesting with beautiful view in there. If you want to relax yourself, just come to there because the view can make you more relax and it is refreshing your mind from your busy days with full of work.

Beside that, Batang has a tradition, called Kliwonan. Kliwonan is an event that held on Thursday Wage night (malam Jumat Kliwon) in Alun-Alun Batang. There are many vendors who come from inside or outside Batang to peddle their merchandise. Every Kliwonan many people come to there, even they only go sightseeing and some of them buy something. This crowd which then become the main attraction for the people of Batang regency even people from outside of Batang though.

My Lovely Doraemon Pillow My Doraemon pillow Pillow is used to sleep and support the head or neck while sleeping, lying down or sitting. There are many types of pillows, such as bed pillows, decorative pillows, or even character pillows. I love doraemon.  I have a character pillow, that is doraemon pillow. My friend gave it in my birthday. I named it Emon. The shape of Emon is the doraemon’s head or circle. The colour is blue and white. Like his name, character pillow, this pillow is characterize doraemon’s face, his wide eyes, red nose, his whiskers, and smiling mouth. It is very comfortable to sleep, because it has soft and smooth texture. I like to use it when I sleep. I always put it in my bed with another pillows that I have. I love my Emon so much.
